The goal of this project was to: 1) obtain information from students entering the CEGEP system concerning their beliefs about ecological processes, environmental issues and their basic knowledge of the same issues, 2) ascertain whether or not there has been a change in students' knowledge and worldviews in regards to environmental issues as a result of participating in an intensive Community Recreation & Leadership Training (CRLT) program course -- Environmental Leadership Experience, 3) ascertain if gender is an important variable when discussing paradigm shift and 4) reflect on current and future curriculum and teaching strategies within CRLT.
